Your task

• Conception and development of a mapping service from machine data to individual IoT applications
• Development of a concept for the automated extraction of data and information models from machine control systems
• Development of an initial prototype and validation with existing information models such as UA Companion Specifications
• The thesis is part of a research project with the TU Munich and industrial partners

What you bring

• Student in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a similar course of study
• Knowledge of PLC programming
• OPC UA is no foreign word for you
• Experience with Python
• Independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Fluent written and spoken German & English
• Enthusiasm for production technology & proactive mindset
