At plus10, we are developing Hopper, an AI-based software solution designed to optimize injection molding processes. Our solution analyzes production data in real time and automatically generates recommendations for reducing scrap and cycle time.
Our international customers use Hopper directly in their production processes—from automotive to medtech. We combine a deep understanding of injection molding processes with modern data analysis and machine learning.

Your task
- Support for the development and validation of AI-based optimization approaches (e.g., parameter recommendations)
- Defining and developing new use cases and features for our AI-based optimization tools
- Planning, conducting, and evaluating tests on injection molding machines. In collaboration with our customers and application partners
- Assisting with the implementation of our Hopper software solution at the customer's site (testing, training, integration)
- Coordinating with customers and communicating requirements to our product team
- Support in developing training materials, best practices, and internal tools
As a fully integrated member of our team, you’ll work with actual machines and datasets and receive direct feedback from the production floor. You’ll combine plastics engineering with data analysis to develop practical solutions for automated process optimization.
What you bring
- Currently pursuing a degree in plastics engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of plastics processing / injection molding
- Basic understanding of process optimization / experimental design (DoE)
- Analytical thinking skills and an interest in data-driven solutions
- Experience in a technical setting (e.g., laboratory, production, internships)
- A structured and independent approach to work
- Very good knowledge of German and English
